The Thread of Red

The Thread of Red, by Paola Grossi Gondi, is an artwork with no beginning and ending. It manifests itself in its first appearance at the entrance hall of the National Gallery of Modern Arts in Rome. It is meant to continue its hidden course, then to reappear in other museums, in other places and spaces, in other cities and in other countries. It is an opera that is thought to bring its message everywhere…
